Our Story
London Table Tennis Club was founded in 2003, and throughout the club's history, we've played in a church, a few schools, a room in the community centre, and even in a banquet hall that served really good Greek food.
Yeah, it's been fun, but we've been tossed around quite a bit.
LTTC has always been a good club, searching for a central location with enough space, and a proper playing venue that was open more than once or twice a week.
On November 17, 2025, we moved to our new 4,500 sq. ft. playing venue, and most importantly, we are now open four evenings every week, allowing dedicated members to play regularly and for us to add more activities, such as a league night.
This year, we replaced many of our aging tables with new, 25mm Joola tournament-quality tables. And now we have the amazing Pongbot Halo S robot for serious stroke training...or a non-human challenge that never gets tired...and yes, it talks.
Our Vision
"Our vision is to inspire and empower players to reach their highest potential. We aim to cultivate not just skilled athletes, but well-rounded individuals who embrace discipline, sportsmanship, and a lifelong love for table tennis."
OK, AI wrote that elitist crap above...here are my thoughts:
LTTC truly wants to recognize and appreciate our recreational players, many of whom play to stay active, improve their fitness, and maybe smash a few by their friends at the office. In short, table tennis is a great stress reliever in a world that could use a little less stress. - Lorne
FYI: Did you know that table tennis has an estimated 850 million participants and fans worldwide and ranks 6th among the world's most popular sports?
